Upload Videos

Video upload is used to add course material to the LOL Online Learning Platform. Uploaded files can be organized into courses and assigned to students after processing and review.

Before uploading, check the video file:

  • Use a common format such as MP4 when possible.
  • Keep the file name clear and easy to identify.
  • Avoid special symbols in file names.
  • Confirm that audio and video are synchronized.
  • Compress the video to a reasonable size for online viewing.
  • Keep an original backup outside the platform.

Upload Workflow

  1. Sign in to the administrator area.
  2. Open the video or course content management page.
  3. Select the target course, class, or category.
  4. Choose the video file to upload.
  5. Wait for the upload to finish.
  6. Confirm the video title, description, and related settings.
  7. Test playback before publishing the lesson to students.

FTP or Bulk Upload

For large files or many videos, the platform may use an FTP or dedicated upload workflow.

When using bulk upload:

  • Keep folder names organized by course or class.
  • Upload during a low-traffic period if possible.
  • Do not close the upload tool before the transfer is complete.
  • Notify support if a file repeatedly fails to upload.

After Upload

After the file is uploaded:

  1. Wait for processing or conversion to complete.
  2. Confirm the preview image and video duration.
  3. Check whether the video should be protected by VideoShield or watermark rules.
  4. Assign the video to the correct course or lesson.
  5. Test playback with a student account.

Troubleshooting

If upload fails:

  • Check the network connection.
  • Confirm that the file is not open in another program.
  • Rename the file using letters, numbers, hyphens, or underscores only.
  • Try a smaller test file to confirm that the upload function is working.
  • Report the file name, file size, page name, and error message to support.
