UL Upload Software User Guide

Download the Installation File

Open https://lol.blueeyes.com.tw in your browser. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the UL Video Upload Software link. Select the download button for your operating system to begin the download.

Install UL Software

  1. After downloading the file, extract the compressed package.
  2. In the extracted folder, double-click setup.exe and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Set Administrator Privileges

  1. Open File Explorer and go to the UL installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\BlueEyes Technology\UL.
  2. Right-click UL.exe and select Properties.
  3. In the Properties window, open the Compatibility tab.
  4. Select Run this program as an administrator, then click Apply and OK.

Configure Windows Defender Exclusions

Windows 10

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.
  2. Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings. Under Exclusions, click Add or remove exclusions.
  3. Choose Add an exclusion, then select a file, folder, file type, or process. Folder exclusions also apply to all subfolders.
    • Application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\BlueEyes Technology\UL\UL.exe
    • Folder path: C:\Program Files (x86)\BlueEyes Technology\UL

Windows 11

  1. Select Start, then open Settings.
  2. Under Privacy & security, choose Virus & threat protection.
  3. Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings. Under Exclusions, click Add or remove exclusions.
  4. Choose Add an exclusion, then select a file, folder, file type, or process. Folder exclusions also apply to all subfolders.

Configure Windows Firewall Access

  1. Open the Start menu, type Allow an app through Windows Firewall, and select it from the search results.
  2. Click Change settings. You may need to enter an administrator password or confirm the change.
  3. Click Allow another app, enter the application path, and select UL.exe to allow it through the firewall.
    • Application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\BlueEyes Technology\UL\UL.exe

Configure the Software

  1. Open UL upload software and go to Settings.
  2. Enter the information provided by the LOL platform or 1SHARE platform administrator, including Host Name if required, Platform URL, Host URL, Username, and Password.
  3. After entering the information, click Enable and Save.

Upload Videos

To upload files, right-click a folder or file in the Local area and select Upload to transfer it to the server.

Track Upload Progress

You can schedule multiple file uploads at the same time. UL processes the queue in order, and you can monitor each file on the Progress page.
